Losing Her Best Friend Started A Revolution
The love of her beloved Great Dane, who lost his battle with a terminal illness, sparked an entire movement towards better canine nutrition that would change the lives of millions of dogs.
This Is Their Story

Like many great beginnings, the TruDog story started with unconditional love…the love of one very special dog. The name “TruDog” comes from founder Lori R. Taylor’s Great Dane named Truman. It is Truman’s legacy that sparked Lori’s life goal to educate fellow dog owners on the hidden costs associated with buying cheap and highly processed dog kibble.Truman lived the life every dog dreams of, giving and receiving unconditional love as only dogs can. He was vibrant, healthy, and full of energy; the heart of his family and a constant companion. Truman lived happily for 7 years until one day his demeanor suddenly changed. He wasn’t his usual self… and, there was a noticeable limp in his walk.
Remember… Your choice is your dog’s voice!

Everything about TruDog is absolutely top notch! Of course, the product is most important and that’s the best part of it! I’m on a very tight budget, (to say the least), but I want the best for my fur babies. While I can’t afford to go 100% TruDog, I can afford Fortify, you care enough to make TruDog affordable for all of us. But that’s just the beginning, the support staff is made up of real dog owners, who all believe in TruDog. I have my own personal concierge, whom I have complete access to, He’s given me his ext # and all of the communications via email, they are so fun and personable I read them all to the very end. The confirmation email letting me know my products were on their way was just precious! I have NEVER been treated with so much care and consideration in my life from a company. Especially nowadays when it’s virtually impossible to speak to a live human…let alone one that cares. Lori Taylor, you broke the glass ceiling, your potential is unlimited, you more than hit your mark, you are a success. And, you’ve accomplished it with a Truheart, your company is a representation of everything you have a passion for and believe in.

The short version is we found our pitty-mix abandoned on the roadside as a puppy a year ago. She had almost everything going on, in a bad way- parasites, worms, mange, allergies & severe digestive problems. We simply couldn’t find a single brand of food that she could keep down (or from blowing out the other end). We tried brands from Canada & U.K. hoping they’d provide a higher quality of ingredients to make digestion better.. No such luck.
While spending a small fortune at our Vet’s office which we visited each week & subjecting our new “baby” to tests, ultrasounds, endoscopy, etc trying to fund a solution, we were introduced to the Veterinary recommended “vegetarian” Rx “scientifically formulated” kibble made from soy & partially hydrogenated oils. This was not awesome. And my pup agreed. After a month of being offered this nasty meal 3x a day, she simply refused to eat. Anything. For 9 days! The Vet assured me she wouldn’t let herself starve & she’d eat when she wanted to. However, we believed she was doing exactly that- starving herself to death.

My 1.5 yr old dog had skin issues and we had put her through so much to help her. From the high end foods to meds and nothing worked. I saw an add for TruDog and fig why not. Within less then two days her skin was a million times better! Fast forward now two months we now have a second pup who is 17 weeks. I of course started him right on with this food and he loved it. My vet who I only saw once bc it was a coupon and free visit told I should only feed him puppy food and that he could be not getting enough from this food. Ah! New mommy worries set in. So of course I ran out did my homework and tried to get a bag of the best “puppy” food I could. Huge name brand blah blah… he hated it! Not only did he hate it he got sick from it. This grain-free well-known food had him vomiting, dry heaving, and very loose poops.

My 11 yr old male Border collie/ collie mix has had several dental cleaning. This last cleaning/ extraction was emotion due to him not waking up for close to eight hours after the procedure. I never want to go through that again so we have been looking for ways to prevent it. I found your Gel Me and decided to give it a try. Teddy is very picky about how he wants his veggies.
